How it started…
I have started and restarted some version of this blog for the last 8 years. Quite a few things have stopped me, most of them my own intrusive thoughts…but the thing is I love life…and I love it most when I share it, so here we are.
I am a pretty normal (pause for thought and interpretation) everyday mom. Most of these pictures will look pretty, but I assure you there is a mess behind the scenes – either literally or metaphorically. I am usually in some variation of my daily uniform of a sweatshirt, sandals, and a messy bun, with a sometimes-clean, sometimes-disaster house in the background, and an endless to-do list – none of it in the cute aesthetic way.
I hope that you will find some little nuggets that bring you comfort in your current dilemma. I hope that you’ll be inspired to take a quick trip and make the memories. I hope you’ll laugh – I hope you’ll leave with something good that you take out to the world.
